Good morning ya'll.  I can say that because I live in southern Texas!!   :O)  I hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day.  I am calling it that because my hubs and I had a conversation about 4th of July.  He is irritated with everyone for calling it 4th of July.  He says that's a date and the holiday we celebrate is Independence Day.  whatev...I've always called it July 4th and I'm not gunna stop now.  You've got to know something about Mr. Mach...he lives a tad bit anal and obsessive life he likes things very structured and organized.  It bothers him that people do this.  Here's the funny thing and why I am telling you this...we NEVER do anything for this holiday.  It's not that we aren't patriotic (he is especially) it's just that 1) it is flippin' H-O-TTTTT where we live and (2) with 2 under the age of 2 it is hard to get out and do that and add the heat...it just don't mix well with the little ones.  My older kids have set yearly plans for this.  One goes to a lake house with best friends and the other is in theater for the summer.  She is ALWAYS at the theater and 4th of July is no different.  She has the best view of the fireworks because the theater is right by the park where they shoot them.    I'm sure we will start celebrating in public again but maybe not because of reason (3) ...we're old and like to be in bed early...hehe  j/k about the last one!!

I know I am bragging and that is probably frowned upon in the blogging world but this is our newest addition to the fam.  Baby E is 3 months old today!!!  Isn't she a cutie!!!

The other morning I woke up and opened my computer and found...GET THIS...not ONE but TWO blog awards.  I am so excited and honored!!  I didn't really even know what they were I'm embarrassed to say. I'd seen them on peoples blogs but NEVER thought Id receive one.  So I am going to tell you about them.

The first one came from sweet Alyce at mrs. bartles school family.  She was so kind to stop by and check me out! Giving the award was just icing on the cake!

1.  I've seen the Dave Matthews Band 29 times...yes 29.  They used to play two shows in my town and I do like to travel...
2.  I have tiny little freckles on my neck that form a triangle
3.  I am adopted
4.  I love photography and scrapbooking (they go together, right?)
5.  I've lived in Texas (practically the same town, they are 7 minutes from each other) my entire life...I'm about to be 44...that is 34 years of horrifying heat to many!!!!
6.  If I won the lottery (which I don't play :( ) I would spend an OBSCEEEEEENE AMOUNT OF MONEY on shoes and handbags...did you say that in your best Edward(Richard Gere...Pretty Woman) voice?
7.  I love the beach and would want to own a beach house one day.  I could fish all night (not day...refer to #5), listen to the waves and be content forever!!!
